Associate & Youth Pastor

Pastor Mike was born in Conneaut, Ohio. He and his wife Emily reside in Marion, Virginia. They have recently been blessed with the birth of their first child Caleb. 

Pastor Mike attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. and is currently working towards his ordination within the Church of God in Virginia. His pastoral ministry began in Bedford, Virginia. with the Thaxton Church of God. He has also served the congregation of the Covenant Community Church of God in Salem, Virginia. Pastor Mike has been the youth pastor of the First Church of God in Chilhowie since January of 2007.

He is currently serving on the Board of Christian Education for the state movement as well as a pastoral advisor for the state youth council. His interests include reading, hunting, golf and baseball.
