Pastor Charles Heater (Transition Pastor)
Pastor Charles Heater was born and raised in Vanceburg, KY. He became a Christian at the age of 9. He was called to preach when he was 17 years old.
After high school graduation he earned degrees from both Faith Bible Institute and Gulf Coast Bible College (which became Mid-America Christian University). After which time, he did graduate work at Anderson University School of Theology.
He has pastored in Indiana, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky totaling nearly 40 years. He retired from full-time pastoring in 2009, and since then, he has served as Interim Pastor in Orange, TX; Christiansburg, VA; Conroe, TX; and Burkeville, TX. He and his wife, Debbie, were married in 1972. They have two terrific children, and they have six "perfect grandchildren. Debbie is not only his wife, but she is an intricate part of his ministry “ especially in the area of prayer.
